Insurance
1. Lyra Health EAP: provided through your employer (separate from health insurance). A few companies who use Lyra include Amazon, Accenture, Apple, Google, Meta/Facebook, Netflix, SpaceX, Starbucks, Tesla, Uber, and hundreds more. If you're not sure, ask your employer or send me a message - I'm happy to check for you!
2. United HealthCare
Apart from UHC, I am a private pay, out of network provider. Most insurances offer out-of-network (OON) benefits, which means they will support the costs of my services. If you're interested in utilizing OON benefits, please reach out and let me know. I have had success with clients getting reimbursed for therapy through Anthem/BCBS, Cigna, Optum, and more.

Self Empowerment, Identity, and Growth
If you are looking to work on your sense of self and improve your ability to advocate for yourself and others, you are my perfect client. Whether you're part of the LGBTQ+ community or not, figuring out your self identity, sense of self, and the journey along the way to self discovery is incredibly empowering, and totally achievable with the right guidance and support.
Coming Out / Confidence / Communication
I employ numerous tools to help you feel your best, both mentally and physically, so you can truly embrace who you are and boost your self esteem.
Anxiety
Let's be honest, we all have anxiety these days, especially since COVID. If you are feeling worried, nervous, have panic attacks, or somatic (physical) symptoms related to how you're feeling, let me know! There are so many things we can do to help you feel better - I have a whole arsenal of coping skills to teach you and we CAN make things better, no matter the triggers or cause.
Depression
Feelings of sadness, loneliness, withdrawing, low motivation or energy, and having a hard time finding joy in things are all symptoms of depression, and many of us (4 out of 5 people!) experience a depressive episode during our lives. We can work together to improve the way you think and talk to yourself, and adjust how your mind processes in order to help improve your mood and your outlook on life.
Many couples go through phases and hardships that impact their relationship. This is actually normal and expected, but having some extra help and support to navigate these challenges leads to a stronger and healthier relationship. I have helped many couples improve their communication, reconnect or strengthen their emotional connection, work through disagreements or misunderstandings, and find joy and support in each other.
Other Concerns might include:
Religious or other Trauma
All of the interventions I use are trauma-informed and I am qualified to help you work through and process any past or present trauma you may experience. Please note that I do not get involved in court cases.
Grief and Loss
Whether someone you love has passed away, you're grieving the loss of what was/might have been, or you're at a cross roads with a big decision to make, therapy can help.
Parent / Family / Ally Support
If someone you love has come out or is having a hard time with their identity/orientation, I'm here to help you navigate that journey in learning how to support them, reconciling whatever feelings and reactions you're having, and moving forward in a healthy and positive way.
SESSION VIBES
I normally start a session with a brief check-in, highs and lows since we last spoke, a chat about what might be helpful for us to explore today, and then we get into it! You're welcome to make yourself comfortable - hug a pillow, grab a fidget toy (catch me doing the same!), and sit in whatever pretzel formation your heart desires. This is a space for you to show up fully and feel safe to explore the tough topics.
